"How much does it cost?" is the second question we get asked. The first is: "Is it funded?" Good news: in Morocco, a significant share of continuing education is pooled and recoverable. You just need to know the mechanisms and build the application correctly. Here is the guide we hand to every company along the Rabat–Casablanca axis.
The principle: you already pay in, claim it back
Every liable Moroccan company pays a vocational training levy (TFP) based on its payroll. This levy feeds a system that, in return, lets you have part of your training spending covered. Not using it means leaving money on the table.
The Special Training Contracts (CSF)
The CSF is the central mechanism. It allows a company to obtain the reimbursement of a significant share of the cost of a training action, provided it fits within a coherent plan and follows the procedure. The main steps:
- Diagnosis and training plan — identify AI skill needs by job function.
- Prior application — file the application before the training starts. This is the classic mistake: training already begun is not funded retroactively.
- Delivery — the training is provided by a recognised organisation, with attendance sheets and materials.
- Reimbursement request — submit supporting documents to obtain coverage.
Our Funding page details the documents to gather, and our administrative office builds the application free of charge with you.
The GIAC: funding upstream thinking
The Interprofessional Advisory Support Groups (GIAC) act upstream of training: they help fund the engineering — that is, identifying needs and the upskilling strategy. For a company wondering "where do we even start with AI?", the GIAC funds precisely that study. It complements the CSF, which then funds the training itself.
OFPPT and continuing education
The OFPPT structures a large part of vocational training in Morocco. Depending on your sector and status, continuing-education mechanisms can dovetail with your AI plan. Here again, the key is anticipation: a plan filed at the start of the financial year opens far more doors than a last-minute request.
The calendar that changes everything
The golden rule of training funding in Morocco comes down to one word: anticipate. Mechanisms such as the CSF rely on a prior application. Concretely:
- Build your AI training plan at the start of the year.
- File the applications before the sessions begin.
- Keep every supporting document (agreement, attendance, invoice, materials).
A concrete example
A Casablanca services company enrols eight marketing managers in our GenAI for Marketing workshop. Rather than bearing the cost alone, it integrates it into its training plan, files a CSF upstream, and recovers a substantial share of the investment. The real net cost becomes a fraction of the headline price — for a skill that durably transforms the team's productivity.
What if I am an independent professional?
The mechanisms above target companies. If you train as an individual, raise it with your employer: they have every interest in including your training in their plan. And if you are an executive or self-employed, the investment remains deductible as a business expense. Our team advises case by case.
